Our Musical Director

Philip Daish-Handy has entertained audiences across the world. He first came to prominence after winning the prestigious Music at Beaulieu Competition, leading to important scholarships, performances and several recordings. Philip founded and is Artistic Director of the Nova Foresta Classical Players.

With his orchestra, Philip has conducted numerous concerts, and has collaborated with many choirs and choral societies to form choral extravaganzas, ‘come and sing’ events, candlelight concerts and Christmas concerts throughout the UK. Since being appointed as Choralia Milford’s Musical Director, Philip has led some memorable performances. He is also delighted to hold additional conducting positions with the Lymington Choral Society and Voices of the Forest.

Having fun. Striving for excellence.

Choralia Milford is a friendly chamber choir that works hard to create high quality performances of eclectic repertoire.

Based in beautiful Milford on Sea, the choir formed as the UK came out of lockdown in 2021.

Comprising some 40 members, this unique choir has developed a broad range of classical and contemporary repertoire, including world premieres of local composers’ music.
